There are four different AC/DC motors and gearboxes for each of the four bins. These are used to control and regulate the aggregate flow out of each container. The A.C. motor is what moves the collection conveyor, which has a scrapper on it. After taking out pieces too big for the drum, a slinger conveyor feeds the collected material into the drum.
